Just Another Lily Day

Such a beautiful day. and lots of work still to be done. i am in love with the coffee shop down the street. the the hussle and bussle of people in and out yet the calm smoothing jazz makes the enviroment so relaxing. and they have so many delicious treats to choose from, biscottis, cupcakes, giant cookies, blueberry scones, carrott cake, chocolate cake, fruit smoothies, ice cream cones with sprinkles. they have every dessert u could possible think of. today i walked down to quietly sip a cup of green tea and nibble on a slice of banana bread while i studied my history and later i started to journal & daydream about moving to new york city next year, and what that would be like. im excited and cant wait. most people ask if im nervous, and i say not at all. im ready, its been my dream since i was a little girl to move to the city.

How lovely itd be to:
dress up and see the wonderful broadway shows
walk up and down the many streets of fabulous boutique & shops
stand on the curb and hold out your hand to catch a taxi (what a thrill that would be. while all the cars rush past you)
spend a saturday visiting different flee markets and street fairs
setting up a picnic in cetral park
eat in unique little cafes
and just strolling around explore all of new york city

and i will share a secret with you...

jungle plantet. my secret hidden shop i ABSOLUTELY LOVE. she makes beautiful jewelery and has the cutest clothes. a very tiny shop stuffed with lovelyness. i ADORE walking up those stairs and stepping into her little shop of happiness. its just so peaceful looking around at all the little trinkets and treasures she has.

Fairs & Treasures.

Since i was out and about this weekend, and not able to have a cup of tea...i am sitting down now with a big cup of Aveda Tea watching a little tv.

I went to the fair this weekend with some friends, since it was halloween, they had a fantastic haunted house, and everyone was dressed up! I've decided to be Marie Antoinette this year and i am making my dress, so i went to the fabric shop and bought gold and light pink material and lace of course. it should turn out really cute...im excited to start sewing away on my sewing machine tomorrow!

Oh! Guess What! I found my lost treasure...a beautiful necklace my charles michael gave to me for my birthday this year. i was so happy to have finally found it (i searched and searhed for a week and a half) that i cried. you must know, i cry all the time. When im happy, sad, confused, lost, tired, suprised, laughing, having a good time, loved, lonely, dreaming, sleeping, singing...all the time.

I also bought this new top at OU when i was in the city, and i wore it with black leggings and my black boots today. It was perfect because although the sun was out today, there was a cool breeze, so the leggings kept my legs nice and warm.

I remeber wanting to buy these dresses while i was in NYC over the summer. but i didnt. and now they're on sale at UO. If only i didnt live so far away form a mall, id be rushing to ring these two up at the register.

A Lazy Wednesday.

To much studying makes a poor girl very tired, so I stayed in bed this morning and watched one of my favorite movies, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. If you haven’t watched it…you must!!



The sun is finally out. I must get out to and run a few errands around town. Tonight, ill be back in my comfy bed under the covers hiding from the cold the night brings watching a new episode of Pushing Daisies, the cutest tv show.

Snowy Snowy Day

Today was perfect for: rosemarry crackers, cheese, apple slices, and of course a cup of tea! i tried a new tea today, blueberry green tea. it wasnt my favorite, i loved the smell more than the way it tasted, but i enjoyed it a bit more after adding a couple german sugar rocks. It snowed mostly all day and i didnt feel like getting out of my comfy grey sweatpants and black long sleeve. so i stayed bundled up on the sofa and studied the day away. ive got alot to study this week.

Everytime i grow my bangs out, i want them cut again.

Why cant i make up my mind whether to have them long or short?

I wish it were easy to decide, but i cant seem to make up my mind.

I have all new magazines! ill be able to finish covering my ceiling with magazine pages...

Halloween is almost here!!

What to be for halloween...im running out of time! I dont know what i want to be this year, and time is flying by much to quickly. Im going out with friends to dinner and then maybe we'll walk around Main Street giving out candy to the little kids who run around collecting as much chocolate as they possibly can. Then back to my house for hot cocoa. But there will be no fun if i dont have a fun costume to dress up in. Hmmmm... what to do. what to do.

Tea For Everyone!

apparently i packed heavy, compared to the rest of my family who only packed one bag each. i had three bags, and still managed to forget soemthing...my tooth brush! luckly i can find that at any local shop.





since last weekend didnt work out, i had high tea with my aunty this weekend at a beautiful historical hotel. they had someone playing the piano, two different types of scones, three different tea sandwiches, and lots of different pasties all extremely delicious. i had jasmine on a cloud tea, the cutest name, i thought.

this is not fair.

sad. sad. sad. ive lost something so dear to me, and am in tears. i cant seem to find it anywhere, ive searched my entire room. turned it upside down, looked in my shoe boxes, in all my drawers, the tiny pockets in my bags, under my pillow, even in my laundry basket and its still no where to be found. i wont give up unitl i know where its gone. since ive been looking all day i decided to sit down and have some almond butter and jam sandwhiches with strawberry tea. atleast thats what i think it is, i fond it in some random can in the cabinet, but it smells of strawberries, so thats what i think im drinking. the tiny almond butter and jam sandwhiches do make me smile, its the perfect snack to sit down to and aslo something i love dearly.





Isabell was the lazy one today, all she did was sleep by the fire place and yawn. I have a wedding to go to this weekend. I am excited about the wedding, i havent been to one since i was little. Plus ill get to dress up and put my heels on and that is always fun. yes yes i am very excited, but my lost treasure will be in the back of my mind. i hope i find it soon.

Oh the joys the day brings...

Shadows! I went out to the coffee shop with my sister today. We studied for a while and then walked up and down main street. It was so quiet, no one was out. All you could hear where the leaves blowing in the wind. My hair was blowing and sticking to my lipgloss. It was so beautiful though, the sun was out and the sky was bright blue! I got distracted starring into the sky at all the clouds and the funny shapes they make.




I came home and made snowball cookies and dreamt of visiting pairs, eatting at cute cafes, writing a book, living in a cute cabin in the country, sitting by the fire, and drinking hot cocoa while listening to christmas music. I know we still have Halloween and Thanksgiving coming up, but im ready for Christmas! I want to hang up the stockings, make my wish list, go shopping for friends, wrap presents, decorate the tree, and have christmas carolers at my dooor!
Oh! but first Halloween! My oh My i havent decided what to be yet...

Happiness Wrapped In A Box!

A present for me! My dearest friend back at home sent me a lovely birthday present. I was so excited and suprised to recieve her gift in the mail. As i opened the cutest little box it was wrapped in, i found a sassy coach ring! a perfect fit. Orange and Gold, two colours that i love to wear. Yes, my birthday was a few months ago...but better late than never, i always say. anyways im not the greatest at sending things out on time either, so it doesn't matter to me, i get a good laugh out of extremely late gifts.

Friend-iversary

Today was very lazy. i had pumkin pie and cookie tea for lunch. studied for chemistry class. talked to my boyfriend. put stamps on all my letters. took a long nap. and thought of ryan and michael (my two best guy friends who live much to far away) when i watched this clip of Marc and Amanda from ugly betty. Something we would probally do...

No shopping for the shopaholic and No more summer

This weekend i went down to the city and walked past all the divine things to buy in the mall. Why do i have to be so poor? All the cute headbands and jewlery and perfumes, oh! and lets not forget shoes! it all makes me quite determined to put an end to my empty wallet. However, i did buy myself some flowers becuse thats about all i had money for. I love love love decorating my room with flowers. It most certainly made my day. and i think its officially winter because its absolutley freezing outside, so today im packing away all my summer dresses and making room for my coats, scarfs, hats, and boots! but NOT my favorite top! i refuse to pack it away for the winter, to bundle up ill just wear a thin jacket and my new balck and white coat over it. i just love the jewwl detail. oh, how could i forget...i painted my nails! hot pink. its always fun painting ur own nails, ive become quit good actually.

Under the Moon

There’s something so magical about the way the moon shines against the dark black sky at night. Lately, I’ve been quite obsessed with the moon…I guess, I never really seemed to notice it before. Every night im more and more amazed as I stare at it through my bedroom window. It has me mesmerized!
The marvelous fact that someone across the country can be starring at the same moon at the same time as you, is unbelievably sweet and romantic in a way.
I was able to take a picture of the full moon and the reflection in the lake with my cell one night. It was so beautiful, I could have wished upon the moon!


This evening was great fun! I went to an art class and came home to BAKE my heart out! With chocolate covered fingers and flour on my nose i felt like i was five again helping mom in the kitchen when she would bake. But this time it was all me and all new recipes ive never tried before. I made a divine Pumkin Pie, Chocolate Swirl Bundt Cake, and a Spinach Quiche for breakfast tomorrow. In between cakes, i sat down to watch Ungle Betty one of my most loved tv shows.

Vanilla Lattes, Zuchini Wraps, and Baby Outfitts

Since the sun was out today i walked down to the local coffee shop to sit out on their pattio and study my history. I ordered a vanilla latte and bought the cutest notebook they were selling. I studied outside until the sun went down behind the mountains, then i moved inside where i was suprised to find completely empty! I had many places to choose from, but i decided to sit on the leather sofa and continue reading. They had Billie Holiday playing soflty, which i loved!
So i came home and put on my playlist of jazz music and cooked dinner. I made zuchini lasagna and while it cooked in the oven, i had to hand feed my isabella. For some reason she wouldnt eat unless i sat next to her bowl and fed her each kibble of food, one at a time. I dont know whats gotten into her...
I've finished writing my letters for my boyfriend this week, now i have to put them in an envolope and get down to the post office to mail them out. Im thinking of adding a Subway gift card for him since hes been running low on money lately. I just think itd be a sweet suprise...lunch on me!!
On Saturday im going down to denver to have tea with my aunt whose pregnant! Also, my best friend is pregnant and having a girl! So i have to buy her something...im thinking of spoiling her with something form juicy, one of my most favorite brands!!

Aren't these adorable for new born babys. I think shes naming her baby girl Kassidy, but im not sure...i helped her pick out the name, but shes not due till febuary so she has awhile to think about other names. Goodness, I cant wait to have my own baby girl, i can dress up in cute clothes!!

Breakfast With Audrey

It was the perfect morning to make some homemade brownies and a cup of tea and jump right back into bed! To curl up under the covers and pretend like i was studying for my chemistry class, which is tomorrow, but actually watch Breakfast at Tiffany's. It snowed this morning, which means it was to cold to get out of bed longer than i had to to make my brownies. The weather cant seem to make up its mind. Just the other day it was sunny and beautiful, and now it decides to snow! This back and forth, cold and hot weather is making me crazy, because i dont know if its time to put away my summer clothes to make room for my warm winter clothes or if i should wait. I dont want to say goodbye to my summer dresses, so i do hope i have a few more weeks of the lovely sun!! Besides i just bought the cutest dress, i cant wait to wear! Maybe tomorrow will be sunny...

The Secret Garden

It was pouring rain this morning, and the thunder was so loud it startled isabell, my dog, that she ran upstairs and jumped into bed with me. By this afternoon, the rain went away and the sun came out! And i was able to have a cup of tea and a slice of quiche in my backyard.
Mr Gnome was hiding in my garden, and i didnt notice until i was rolling around carelessly in the grass. The tea pot i found at a street fair and i use it to water my herbs which i admit i must tend to more often. Later this week i plan to buy some sage, basil, mint, and lavander to decorate my window sill.

Im Just Company

Sillys boys, they never stop playing their video games. My boyfriend is in college, and i spent the morning on the phone with him while he played 'Metal Gear Solid 4'. I say that like i know what im talking about, when infact i dont! I just asked him what game he was playing, and it took me a while to figure out what he said...Im completely clueless when it comes to video games. Id rather bake cupcakes, or read a book, or just sit there next to him while he plays and of course pay no attention to the game, id admire at how into the game and excited he gets. He goes into his own little world when he plays his games, so it wasn't much of a conversation, but that doesnt bother me. When im on the phone with him like that, it makes it feel like im actually there. I was able to clean my room, put a load of laundry in the washer, and finish a little homework while he played away...
Todays, the 1st of the month! Which means i see him next month for Thanksgiving! Im so excited, its been to long since ive last seen him, and i have to say im in dire need of a sweet kiss
